Freeport Named Among Best Employers in Arizona

August 26, 2024

In another recognition of Freeport as a top career destination, the company has been named one of the best employers in Arizona in annual rankings by Forbes Magazine.

Freeport ranked 67th in Arizona on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2024, which includes both private sector and government entities. Of Arizona employers based in the state, Freeport finished 16.

Pam Masson, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer, said inclusion on the list of Arizona’s top employers “highlights our commitment to a positive and supportive work environment.

“This accolade reinforces the company's strong reputation, supports attraction and retention of top talent, and demonstrates how our organization cares about well-being and invests in employee growth,” Masson said.

The state-by-state rankings are based on surveys of more than 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 U.S. employees who were asked to rank their employers on a scale from zero to 10. Those questioned were asked whether they would recommend their employer to friends and family. Forbes partners with the market research firm Statista to conduct the surveys.

“The title America's Best-In-State Employers 2024 reinforces Freeport’s reputation as a company that provides an exceptional workplace environment and employment opportunities,” Forbes wrote in its notification.

Freeport is regularly recognized as a top place to work both in the U.S. and in Arizona. Earlier this year it was included on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers.

This year, the company also was named one of the 100 “Most Just Companies” for the fifth time in independent reviews conducted by JUST Capital. The rankings are based on evaluations of the largest U.S. companies on 20 issues that are identified as most important in public opinion surveys, most importantly its treatment of workers.
