To share a grievance, ask a question or request information, please call 877-629-2609, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  Grievances will be routed to the appropriate department for handling within 24 hours of receipt, and resolution to the best of our ability in the shortest time possible.  Questions or requests for information will be routed to the appropriate department for handling within 24 hours of receipt and provided with a response within 72 hours of receipt.  Please note, to receive a response by phone, email or mail, appropriate contact information must be provided.  We encourage all stakeholders to share any complaints or grievances so that we may address them to the best of our ability and we are always open to answer questions or provide requested information.

About the Sites
Ajo
The Ajo mine, located in Pima County in southwest Arizona approximately 90 miles southwest of Phoenix, discontinued operations in 1985.  Current care and maintenance activities in Ajo include the management of a of fresh water delivery system.

Bagdad
The Bagdad mine is an open-pit copper and molybdenum mining complex located in Yavapai County in west-central Arizona. It is approximately 60 miles west of Prescott and 100 miles northwest of Phoenix.  

Bisbee
The Bisbee mine, located in Cochise County in southeast Arizona approximately 80 miles southeast of Tucson, was closed in 1974.  Current company activities include soil and water remediation and mine reclamation.

Jerome / Clarkdale
An historical mining operation closed in 1950s, Jerome/Clarkdale is located in Yavapai County, Arizona, approximately 100 miles north of Phoenix.  Freeport-McMoRan continues mining reclamation work at this site.

Sierrita
The Sierrita mine is an open-pit copper and molybdenum mining complex located in Pima County, Arizona, approximately 20 miles southwest of Tucson and seven miles west of the town of Green Valley and Interstate Highway 19. Also located in Sahuarita is the Climax Technology Center that produces molybdenum metal powders and pellets.

Miami / Globe
The Miami mine is an open-pit copper mining complex, copper smelter and copper rod mill located in Gila County, Arizona, approximately 90 miles east of Phoenix and six miles west of the city of Globe. 

Morenci
Morenci is an open-pit copper mining complex  located in Greenlee County, Arizona, approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford.

Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona is the location for Freeport-McMoRan's corporate headquarters. 

Safford
The Safford mine is an open-pit copper mining complex located in Graham County, Arizona, approximately eight miles north of the town of Safford and 170 miles east of Phoenix. Also located in Safford are the Freeport-McMoRan Process Technology Center and the Central Analytical Service Center.

Tohono (Cyprus Tohono Corporation)
An historical mining operation, Tohono is located on the Tohono O'odham Nation in southern Arizona approximately 25 miles south of Casa Grade, Arizona.

Tucson
Tucson, Arizona is the location for some of Freeport-McMoRan's technical support, reclamation and exploration staff.
